Demystifying the SI Joint

The Sacrum has been called the keystone of our pelvic stability. The major joint that it forms within the pelvic girdle is the sacro-iliac joint, or SI joint. But what exactly are these mysterious joints, and how do they affect your Pilates practice? Join Aimee Plauche in this 2 hour workshop to learn about the movements, muscularity, and malfunctions surrounding the sacro-iliac joint.

APPENDICULAR CORE WORKSHOP

Expand your definition of the core!  The hips and shoulders are the only ball and socket joints in the body, giving them the greatest mobility. But they are major players in our overall stability in Pilates! In this workshop, you will learn about the muscles that offer you mobility and stability in your shoulders, shoulder girdle, hips, and pelvis. We will then connect these joints with the core through both new and familiar exercises.
